I Want to Know What Love Is

Yesterday was fairly uneventful in the office but back at the hotel I had some excitement. I was reading in the paper yesterday that foreigner was in town for a concert and one of the sponsors was the Sheraton Presidente. The place that they were giving the concert was about a mile away so my logic in this was they were probably staying at the same hotel and I was right. I ended up riding in the elevator with one of the main band guys. Which one? I'm not sure. Below is a picture of the group and the guy that I saw is the one third from the left. I tried to find his name but I couldn't for the life of me. Does anyone know? Anyway it was pretty cool...of course I wish I could have looked a little better. I had just finished up in the gym downstairs so I probably looked pretty skanky to him.

Hi Em,
I have never been on a blog site before so I don't really know how this works. Hopefully you will get this message. I just wanted to let you know that I am visiting your site and have given the web address to Shannon and Kelly. What kind of work are you doing? What does TDY stand for? Look forward to reading more about your time in El Salvador.

Hi!

Got the message without a problem:) I believe the majority of my time will be spent at the embassy inputting data and looking at cases but I might get a chance or two to go out but nothing for certain. TDY stands for temporary duty station. Not sure what the Y is there for. Guess that's the gov't for you.

The band appears to be Mana...the Spanishs worlds Rolling Stones. But then again, I feel like you may have mistaken the cleaning staff or something when you were in the elevator.

Foreigner?! Please, were you even born when they were famous?? The guy in the elevator was probably thinking, "this girl is about the same age as my granddaughter." So, tell us what we really want to know: have you gotten the bad taco diarrhea yet? And another important question: Do they bowl in El Salvador? Maybe you could write a blog about that....Seriously, where are the pictures? We want pictures! I can't feel like I'm there without pics! Don't make me get the meth princess on you - fear the princess!!! And while you're fearing, upload some pics! lol,lol,lol....I crack myself up.
