Zeta, zeta, zeta......
Okay, this is totally off topic but I just had to post about it. Now as I've mentioned before the Simpsons are Spanish dubbed and I was hoping that while I was down her I would be able to catch some of my favorite episodes and see how it translates. Well, tonight was my lucky night. One of my favorite episodes is the one where they all believe Maggie is smart after they take her to this private school and is "interviewed" by Simon Cowell. Homer gets the phonics frog and uses it to talk for him. The best moment is when Homer is sleeping and he uses the phonics frog to press the "z" button to snore, but instead of catching his "z's" he was catching his "zetas". I just love how things translate across languages.

Just want to let raine_days know what an awesome time I had in El Salvador this past weekend!!! I hope you are having fun with your new BFF "Judy" or whatever her real name is!!!!! :-)
You have mentioned seeing a lot of American TV shows that have been dubbed in Spanish, but you have made no mention of the greatest shop on earth - "Saved By The Bell." I'm sure it was fufilling to see Homer (aka Homero) snoring in Spanish, but don't you think the El Salvadorean public would like to know about the exploits of Bayside High's most popular kids???
She not allowed to have a new BFF! Hurry back Raine...we miss the waffly miracles!
Waffles? Did someone say waffles? Raine, can you take some pictures of a waffle in different Salvadorian scenes? I'm very excited that you have added all the pics, and the only way they could be better is if they were waffly pics! One other question - who is that girl in the picture you posted on Sunday? I think I saw her on America's Most Wanted and I want to collect the reward!
Fusion king...I'll work on the waffle thing. I went looking for them at breakfast this morning but apparently they got waffly about serving waffles. They usually have them but they didn't today.
Did they have any of those curious cakes made in a pan at breakfast???
I think they might have Pick-Up Artist. I saw this sign and it said:
Pan
Cake
Is this the odd concoction you are talking about?
Also apparently the waffle is held in high regards in San Salvador as I found out the waffle maker is kept behind the buffet and you have to have a secret code to get one. I'm still working on that but I think I'll have it by the weekend.
Damn those secret societies! On another note - Pick-up Artist is toony!
So they DO have the illustrious pan cake! I bet the fusion waffle king could crack the code needed to get to the waffle-maker!
As for anonymous' comment on my sanity, I have a stamp on my hand that says otherwise. I have a certificate too! But then again, look at the company I keep - my roommate thinks he's Michael Jackson!
