Snow!!!
Yay!!! It snowed here today!! It didn't really stick but it's the first snow fall of the year for me so I'll take what I can get.

Well actually there weren't any trains involved and the automobile side was limited, or I should say problem free, but I definitely had my share of planes for the day. What started out as a fairly easy trip to Warsaw via Dulles with a connection in Munich turned out to be my worst nightmare. My flight was scheduled to leave at 8:15 but at 7:30 Lufthansa (evil, evil, airline) announced that the co-pilot was sick and the plane wouldn't leave until tomorrow at 3:30 in the afternoon. Yeah...so now I had to run back to the main terminal and see if they could get me on another flight with someone else. I literally ran the length of the main terminal several times since each place I went to sent me to another desk. Security was probably laughing their asses off if they were watching the security tapes. The best airline help, and I mean this sarcastically, was Delta. Apparently they like to use a group-work model as they seemed to do things in clumps but even then crickets would be going off when I would try to explain basic things. Anyway, with less then a half hour before boarding I got my tickets and was on my way again.
But the fun doesn't end there. My next adventure in flying took place at Charles De Gaulle airport. What an F'ed up place that is. I've never been through that airport before and I hope I never have to go through again. We stop on some random strip of pavement and unload to buses. At this time I only have about a half hour before my connection starts to board. So we drive forever and finally stop outside of terminal A, but we can't get off because no one is there to open the door. So we sit there for almost 10 minutes so some lameass French person can open the doors. We finally get the doors opened and proceed through a skyway to the other side, where I realize I need to catch another bus to terminal B. These buses are apparently the only way to get between terminals. I guess that means some people have job security. But I have to wait another 10 minutes or so to get on another bus. By that time its' 15 after 12 and my flights already boarding. I have never pushed people so much as I did today. Good thing to since a few people after me they stopped since the bus was full. Of course that incited a riot between three women and the "security" person. Thankfully my terminal was the next stop so I jumped off and ran to the gate. I just barely made it as about 5 minutes after I got there the bus(yes, I had to hope another bus. The French sure like their buses)took off for the plane.
After making that flight the rest of the trip was uneventful, thankfully. My luggage made it in one piece and I got to the hotel (which is really nice). Hopefully I'll have some pictures up for tomorrow. Now I'm off to watch the good ol' Simpsons in German.
