On the Road Again

Well, I'm not exactly on a TDY but I am driving cross-country with Pick-Up Artist to her new job in Las Vegas. Since it's sort of work related I figured I could make an exception to my blog. Today was Day 1 of 5. We started off the drive around 12ish in Chantilly, VA and ended up in Harriman, TN around 8. The drive wasn't bad but to pass the time we decided to start counting the Cracker Barrels along the way. Virginia had 6 and to date Tennessee has 8. I'm guessing we'll be able to double that number by the end of tomorrow. Tomorrow will also be a big day as we're going to swing by Graceland for a quick tour. I mean how can drive through Tennessee and not stop there? Hopefully I'll even have time to grab a grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich.
