Bonjour!
Salutations de la France!
I arrived in Paris bright and early this morning. The flight was a smooth one but once again my arch nemisis, Dulles Int'l airport, won another round. That place has some real issue with getting people through the queues in a timely manner. The hotel is nice and in a good location.... the only negative is my room is just slightly bigger then my closet at home. I kid you not. After a quick nap I hit the town and saw a few places; le Louvre, le Musee d'art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, and le Tour Eiffel. While out and about I also learned a few things as well. They are:
1) The french are still evil. Well, slightly less then what I remembered but still a smidge evil. They just wander and walk where they want.
2) The restrooms in most places are unisex. Not that I mind but it's just a different mind set then what I'm used to.
3) Their dogs go everywhere. Grocery store and what not the dogs are there.
4) They still watch Space: 1999. I didn't even know it was a show until today. Why would you want to watch a show that's supposed to be in the future but is now the past? I'm all for campiness but this is just sad.
